I don’t devalue any gift that shows up.
And so do my clients. When they realize the things they were criticized for when they were younger are actually gifts, they say things like, “Wow, I never realized this could be a strength, I can see how I have been acknowledging this about myself.”
Then the pressure is released and they can relax into a strength they once thought was a weakness.
